Hi, I’m Michael.

No one’s story can be summarized in an about page, but here’s the elevator pitch for my health & wellness journey and mission:

I weighed 190 pounds when I was 12 years old. I was bullied and harassed daily for being a “fat kid.” I felt tremendous shame and didn't understand why I was so much bigger than the other kids. Finally, enough was enough and I began to do some research on my own. I told my mom to stop buying junk food and sodas for me. I started running and jumping rope. I started playing sports. By the time I was 14, I weighed 150 pounds and was six inches taller. With obesity struggles prevalent in my family, I told myself that I would do everything in my power to never let that happen to me, so my passion for health and fitness ignited. Over the following two decades I would become a camp counselor, an avid hiker, a multi-sport athlete, a surfer, a cyclist, a sailor, a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and an overall health & wellness enthusiast.

I’ve been working in Hollywood for close to a decade now, starting as an intern and assistant and working my way up to an executive and producer. After reading thousands of scripts and working on numerous movies and tv shows, I’ve learned that there are many similarities between storytelling and how we craft our lives.

I am now merging these two worlds to help inspire and guide people to overcome whatever obstacle they’re facing to become the hero of their own story.
